Job description:

Gilbert Brothers Concrete is hiring a hands-on foreman to lead a small residential and commercial flatwork crew.

Our work includes driveways, patios, walkways, steps, garage slabs, decorative concrete, and small commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew through forming, placing, finishing, saw cutting, and cleanup

• Complete layout, grade, elevation, and slope checks

• Organize daily labour, tools, equipment, and materials

• Keep jobs productive and maintain high workmanship standards

• Communicate progress and jobsite issues with the owners

• Work alongside the crew as required

Requirements

• Strong flatwork forming and finishing experience

• Able to screed, finish, and check grades confidently

• Previous foreman or lead-hand experience preferred

• Able to run a small crew without constant supervision

• Reliable, organized, and comfortable making decisions on site

• Valid Class G driver’s licence

• Physically capable of heavy outdoor work
